Yesterday, I had the pleasure of catching up with Tessa from Herr Koch Feinkost and I left our chat feeling truly energised and grateful. Not just because I finally got to restock our Twisted Nut jars on their beautiful shelves (thanks for your patience!), but because it reminded me why we do this in the first place.
Running a small business isn’t easy. It’s long days, problem solving, personal sacrifice and most of all, heart. Tessa and her team know exactly what I mean. Herr Koch isn’t just a deli, it’s a space built on care, quality and connection. You can feel it the moment you walk in.
When local businesses support one another, something bigger happens. We build more than sales, we build community. We show up for each other, take risks together and create something real for the people who live around us.
I’m incredibly thankful for Herr Koch’s ongoing support. That they waited for me to get back on my feet, restock, and deliver, that means a lot. And I want you to know, if you're local to Berlin or visiting, go check them out. What they’re building is special. Real food, real people, and a genuine love for what they do.
Let’s keep backing the good ones. The locals. The ones who care.
