Donuts taste much better when you make them yourself! Try these classic vegan donuts made Twisted Nut Almond Butter!

Ingredients
For the donuts:

125g flour

75g sugar

75ml coconut oil

1/2 tsp vanilla extract

Pinch of salt

1/2 tsp baking soda

1/2 tbsp apple cider vinegar

100g apple sauce
-
100ml soy milk
For the Glaze:

2 tbspTwisted Nut Crunchy Almond Butter
-
3 tbsp icing sugar
-
1-2 tbsp soy milk
-
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
Instructions
1. Preheat the oven at 180℃. Grease the donut tray with a bit of coconut oil to prevent sticking and set aside.
2. Mix all the dry ingredients in a bowl. In a separate box mix all the wet ingredients. Then combine and mix with a hand mixer (don't over mix).
3. Pour the batter in the pan, about 2 tbsp per donut (make sure you don't fill the holes to the top as they will rise in the oven).
4. Bake for about 15-18 minutes, depending on your oven. Test that it's baked all the way through with a toothpick before removing from the oven and setting aside to cool.
5. Prepare the icing by mixing the ingredients together. Start off by adding 1 tbsp of milk, add another if you see the icing is too thick.
6. Once the donuts have cooled completely, top with the glaze and some chopped almond pieces. Enjoy!
